iPhone delivery dates now 14th July

When!!!!

The Apple pre-order website now gives the delivery date for both the 16 and 32 GB versions of the iPhone 4 in the UK and US as 14 July.

The pre-order has now had two huge jumps in less than a week. The site which went live on Tuesday  where it advertised shipping dates as 24 June swiftly moved to 2 July in the UK and to 14 July in the US.

As we send then there’s only two solutions to getting an iPhone on the 24 June, either queue up in the very long queue at an Apple store, or register with one of the networks. And people are already starting to queue up outside of stores in the US, although there’s probably not going to be a lot of stock as pre-orders with the shops were totalling 800-2000 per shop in the US according to one website earlier on in the week.

All of the big network companies Vodafone/O2/Orange have announced their pricing we’re still just waiting for Tesco and Three, and there are rumours that Virgin Mobile will also be offering the iPhone 4.

If you want a 8Gb 3GS version with IOS 4 installed – apparently it will be released on the 21st June – you can still get a SIM-free version of that for the 24 June.
