Chrome for iOS gets a social update

Google has upgraded its Chrome browser for iPad and iPhone users to allow users to update their Twitter, Facebook and Goggle+ social networks directly from the browser.

Users can now share webpages directly to Google+, Facebook and Twitter as well as email. The update follows a Google+ release for iPhone and iPad that added the ability to open links directly in Chrome from iOS, which gets around Apple’s desire to make Safari the default destination for URL links.

The update puts Chrome ahead of Safari for iOS which currently only allows users to share via Twitter or email, Facebook integration is on its way with iOS 6.
