Opera’s State of the mobile web report http://www.opera.com/smw/ for August once again shows an increase in mobile usage.
The report shows page views worldwide increasing by more than 14% and data transfers increasing by almost 10% from July. More than four million new Opera Mini users contributed to the jump, which is the largest gain in six months, there are now 66.5 million users of Opera Mini worldwide viewing over 33.9 billion mobile web pages a month.
Figures for the US and UK show not much has changed. The usual suspects are still there, BBC, Facebook, YouTube etc The only real change is the inclusion of Myspace back on the US top ten.
