What’s new in version 3 of Tweetie? Well it’s now called Twitter and so far it’s been released in New Zealand and is making it’s way around the world, so we’re only hours away from getting it in the UK/US.

New features
- Search has been reorganised, so you can now search tweets and find users in the same spot – Hitchcock would have a field day with Twitter OH MY GOD THE MURDERER IS UPSTAIRS!
- View Top Tweets and browse Suggested users
- Search results now include Top Tweets
- You can use Twitter without an account, anyone downloading the app can now search, browse and view trends and top tweets
- Twitter sign up is available in the app
- Users can have multiple accounts on the system
- The interface has been tweaked to allow fast access to actions that users use the most like retweet which is now on the main actions bar
