iPhone 4 now at Tesco

Tesco have finally launched their iPhone pricing and the pricing is keen as always, with pay as you go it will be cheaper to buy an iPhone 4 with Tesco than Apple.

As with the better networks Tesco have gone with a 1Gb monthly allowance and the 1Gb monthly wifi allowance at BT’s Openzone.

When Pay as you go does arrive – they’re not launching with it but you can register your interest on the site – it will be £479 for a 16Gb model and £569 for a 32Gb model, that’s a reduction of £20 and £30 on Apple’s SIM free pricing of £499 and £599. Although it’s unsure when Pay as you go will be available, we suspect they will wait for Apple to get over the initial backlog, the UK site still says 14 July delivery so we’re guessing sometime mid July.

Pay monthly starts at £20 a month on a 12 month tariff with 250 minutes a month and unlimited texts for which a iPhone 4 16 Gb will set you back £349 and an iPhone 4 32Gb will set you back £429.

If you go for the £35 a month 12 month contract tariff, the prices reduce to £229 and £299 and you get an extra 500 minutes of calls a month.

Considering Tesco just launched a huge campaign on the Tubes that says goodbye to 12 month plus contracts and hello to a new phone every year, they are offering a 24 month contract at £45 a month with unlimited calls and texts and the prices are just £19 and £99 for the 16Gb and 32Gb options.
