Shopstyle.co.uk launches fashion shopping application on the iPad

Fashion shopping site Shopstyle.co.uk, which brings together Britain’s favourite brands and stores under one digital roof, has launched a new fashion shopping application for the iPad.

Called ShopStyle Mobile, the free app is based on their previous iPhone app, and has been enhanced for the iPad.

The new app gives iPad users the chance to shop from over 2000 fashion, home and beauty shops and online brands, including Christian Louboutin,  Net-A-Porter, Yoox, Browns Fashion, Top Shop, Dorothy Perkins, Marks and Spencer, My Wardrobe, New Look, House of Fraser, John Lewis and many more.

“The iPad is going to be the ultimate handbag accessory for any style conscious woman and it’s this audience who love shopping for the best of British and international fashion on the move,” says Shannon Edwards, director of ShopStyle.

The key features of the ShopStyle Mobile iPad application include:

The ability to browse the latest fashions by brand or category and scroll through multiple products at once or see each close-up in the gallery view.

Search by keyword within a category or across all products.

Find sales by filtering products to only see items that are discounted.

A price filter, narrowing the search to suit the budget.

Customers can buy directly from the retailer by tapping the app’s ‘Buy’ button and going straight to the shop’s purchase page.

The ability to share products with friends by email or Twitter.

Find similar and related items from the same brand/retailer.

French and German language versions.

ShopStyle UK is focussed on “revolutionising the way women shop” online and last April it introduced ‘ShopSense’ a free service which enables media owners and bloggers to generate revenue from their online content. The ShopStyle Mobile application is also available for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
