Mobile startups – last chance to win $25,000

Start-up companies in the mobile sector are being invited to enter the MobiTechFestEurope 2010 competition, for the chance to win $25,000.

The event, taking place in London on November 24, offers mobile businesses the opportunity to pitch for funding to industry leaders in the mobile and wireless sectors.

Up to 16 companies will be selected to showcase their business concepts to an audience of corporate and venture investors, as well as industry experts, who will then select the winner. The prize also includes a VIP event, exhibit and marketing package for the International CTIA Wireless 2011 show in Las Vegas in March.

Gopan Madathil, president of Investorfest Media, who are organising the competition, said: “This event provides an unrivaled opportunity to network with top investors from all across Europe, which is why we encourage entrepreneurs to attend, even if they’re not presenting.”

Areas of particular interest will include: m-health, mobile infrastructure, platforms and user experience, content, commerce, location based services and wireless sensors and enterprise.
