BlackBerry App World web storefront launches

RIM have updated their BlackBerry App World with the ability to buy apps from the web.

RIM have update their BlackBerry App World with some additional functionality and at the same time released a few additional figures. Since BlackBerry App World surpassed the 10,000 application mark back in September things have been going well, RIM says that now more than 30 million users across 65 countries have downloaded the store client since App World first opened in spring 2009.

The latest update to BlackBerry App World storefront the Webstore (http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/) allows BlackBerry users to purchase and download apps directly from a PC to their smartphones using the new My World page. Additionally web users can use the “Edit My World” function to sync app downloads directly to the BlackBerry smartphone, and they can read and write reviews and recommend items to peers.
