BlackBerry app developers get free Webtrends analytics

Webtrends official blog has announced that they’ve officially launched their free analytics service to BlackBerry app developers.

Webtrends, Director of Mobile Analytics, Eric Rickson announced on the Webtrends official blog
“We are excited to announce that BlackBerry Analytics powered by Webtrends is now available to the general public in open Beta”.

According to Rickson the new Webtrends analytics beta allows BlackBerry developers to;
“easily integrate tracking into their applications to capture detailed information about how the application is used. The service provides deep insights into user engagement and loyalty, shows the content and media they find most compelling, and reveals opportunities to improve the application’s experience through new or refined features.”

Analytics results include:

  • Overview metrics showing active users, new users, frequency of use, engagement in duration and depth of use, number of screens viewed, and conversions
  • Detail in usage of screens, content, media, features, products, in-app search, and in-app ads
  • User information including country and language, device characteristics, carrier, connection type and errors

To get the new beta you need to sign up, and download the Webtrends SDK.
