Three gets iPad pricing right

Three, are the latest network to enter in to the iPad data plan market, ready for the UK launch on Friday, and their pricing is keen to say the least. They also have a network that unlike some of their competitors is actually very fast, although in our experience it’s also a little patchy in places.

Like their competitors Orange/O2/Vodafone all Three’s data plans are all contract free, however unlike the others all of their data plans are monthly, where as there are a few daily and weekly tariffs available with Orange etc.

Three UK plans for iPad with Wi-Fi + 3G

Data
Monthly Fee
1GB £7.50
10GB £15.00

Data plans do not require a term contract.

There’s a registration page at http://www.three.co.uk/Mobile_Broadband/iPad_data_plans and if you fill in the details you’ll be told that it will take 14 days for you to get your MicroSIM so unfortunately you’re stuffed if you want it for Friday. Additionally Three only accepts Visa, MasterCard or Amex so if you have another card it’s time to start applying for one of these.
